The TUDOS operating system consists of several components:
- The Fiasco microkernel
- L4Re, the L4 runtime environment, a basic set of servers and libraries
- IO, platform and device management
- DDE/DDEKit, a device driver environment to reuse legacy drivers on L4
- L4Linux, a container for legacy applications
